Job description: Summary
The Communication Sciences and Disorders program invites expressions of interest for part-time adjunct faculty opportunities in clinical practicum supervision and academic teaching. SONHS offers a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology, and an undergraduate minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Adjunct teaching assignments may include both face to face and online instruction. Clinical practicum supervision includes both on campus and off sites at various Chicagoland locations, as well as tele-therapy supervision.
Qualifications
- Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program
- Current Illinois State Licensure in CCC-SLP
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical service delivery after completion of the Clinical Fellowship
- Recent speech language pathology practice
- Understanding of the scope and challenges of the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm toward serving a diverse student and client population
