JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Behrend invites applications for a full-time, one-year replacement position in Mathematics to begin Fall 2023. This position will be at the rank of lecturer or assistant teaching professor (depending on qualifications.) A M.S. degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative/applied field is required. Responsibilities include teaching algebra and trigonometry through second-year calculus, commensurate with degree and experience. Additional duties may include performing scholarly activity; advising and mentoring students; and service to the school and college. Faculty members are expected to promote and advance Penn State Behrend’s commitment to both teaching and scholarship, to the holistic development of students, and to principles of respect, diversity, and inclusiveness.
