Job Description
Job title: Elementary Tutor
Company: Plainville Community Schools
Job description: Experience working with elementary school children. Knowledgeable about current effective instructional strategies and assessment of learning. Must have a strong commitment, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. Must have ability to work in collaboration with classroom teachers and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. The elementary tutor will work with classroom teachers and instructional resource teachers to plan and implement instructional plans for students. Responsible for maintaining appropriate student data and communication with teachers. Bachelor’s Degree required. Salary range and benefits can be found in the Para/Tutor contract located on the Plainville Community Schools website at www.plainvilleschools.org.
