Job Summary:
L’Oréal is looking for a passionate, bright, energetic and digitally savvy candidate to join the commercial team responsible for Amazon sales in the U.S.
The role requires the ability to strategize and execute the best proactive and reactive digital strategies to meet L’Oréals sell-in, sell-out and net sales objectives. This includes accountability for sales/forecasting, content, customer experience and category development, while working cross-functionally and executing programs on Amazon to position L’Oréal Paris as a leader in each category. Candidate must be outgoing, have strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage internal and external resources to successfully deliver business results.
This position reports to VP, Customer Team Leader, Amazon LOréal Paris.
Overall Responsibilities
Account Management / Sales Responsibilities * Own the Amazon P&L for assigned L’Oréal Paris categories
Responsible for meeting annual and monthly sell out, sell in and net sales goals, including ownership of forecasting, building budgets and trends
Leverage internal reporting to optimize strategy, present findings and recommendations
Deliver monthly updates to forecast and reconcile to the plan
Collaborate with cross functional teams to help meet and exceed goals
Execute Daily Account Management
Work with Brand Concierge contact to ensure full alignment on brand strategy, sales goals, and merchandising plan execution
Work with brand marketing teams to ensure strategy is being executed and optimized
Work closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Customer Service to ensure all account inventory needs are met
Work with internal teams to flag price updates, manage out of stocks, manage product discontinuations
Work with Demand Planning and Supply Chain on order/supply forecasting
Promotional Planning & Execution
Plan and execute promotional calendar (including tentpole moments and new opportunities) according to business goals and objectives
Overall Marketing Responsibilities for assigned categories * Best-in-class Content Creation for Amazon
Oversee product set up process and work with internal teams to ensure all forms for new launches and pre orders are complete to meet launch deadlines
Oversee process and work with internal teams to deliver BIC content creation and optimization on Amazon (including copy, videos, images, alt images, A+ content)
Oversee search optimization of PDPs
Create a completed plan to launch, display, support and promote new products and drive hero products
Work with brand liaisons in the US and DMI to ensure alignment and that needs are met
Category Management
Maintain L’Oréals leadership in category management on Amazon by collaborating with internal brand teams, and Amazon, Retail and Brand Concierge Teams
Use market research and creative and strategic thinking for category evolution strategies
Requirements
5+ years in a strategy or analytics-focused role, working on projects that have enabled building strong quantitative skills and business judgment
Track record of delivering business results by driving insights, building and executing sound, data driven strategies
Ecommerce experience (experience working with Amazon is ideal, but not required)
Strong understanding of the Digital Media and Beauty Industry
Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
Skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Highly organized with proven multi-tasking ability
High proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint programs and the ability to create high impact presentations
Proactive and results oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial environment where new ideas are championed

Salary Range: $139,700 – $199,100 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
