Overview: Lead Enterprise Project Manager (PMP)

Position can be done remote (Work from Home).

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for delivering large-scale strategic initiatives within the Mercy ministry ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and meeting quality standards and measures.

The Lead Enterprise Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of project delivery in partnership with sponsors and stakeholders.

The Lead Project Manager consults with sponsors and stakeholders on large, highly complex, highly visible strategic initiatives and/or workstreams for Mercy ministry-wide to achieve specific business goals or objectives. The Lead Project Manager coordinates project teams, drives communication management, illustrates the story of the strategic initiative journey through reporting, providing financial management and support, and ensuring schedules are set-up and followed. Maintains the stability of strategic initiatives and workstreams for Mercy ministry-wide.

The Lead Project Manager ensures that project goals and objectives are established and are met against the aligned scope and value proposition.

The Lead Project Manager demonstrates credibility as a thought leadership partner to ensure relevant decisions are reached to support business goals and objectives. Additionally, ensures strategic alignment of anticipated outcomes with business needs.

Performs other work duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 9 years of relevant technical, business or clinical work experience
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.

PMP Certification: Recognized Project Management certification

Other Skills and Knowledge:

5 years relevant health care experience in hospital, clinical or patient care environments. Relevant experience in health care technology and implementation.

Demonstrated mastery of delivering large strategic initiatives, work-streams and large projects.

Demonstrated mastery of project management skills including cost management, risk/issue management, scope management, solution development for the initiative approach, schedule management and relevant business and PPM tools.

Additionally, demonstrated mastery of communication management, conflict resolution and critical thinking.

Proven ability to lead and facilitate work independently and operate as a self-starter using appropriate resources and discernment.

Preferred: Agile experience in health care environments. Master’s in Health Care/Administration and/or Project Management.
