Duties and responsibilities
- Position Summary:
- Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Responsibility for stability, consistency and availability of the digital platforms managed by Marketing Communications and help govern processes and procedures which deliver change to those platforms
- Set digital communications strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Understand technology and concepts within the digital, data and platform spaces
- Assist in executing growth plans for evolving digital platforms
- Act as the central interface between local stakeholders and the global website team and communicate local requirements for the website to the global website team
- Understand global processes and standards and be able to adapt to local needs
- Understand and support website traffic drivers, implement and/or maintain SEO and accessibility best practices and optimize our digital ecosystem by collaborating with internal and external technology partners
- Manage and execute web migrations and ongoing web maintenance and functionality
- Develop and manage SEO implementation initiatives in conjunction with Communications Strategists
- Help manage and execute sales enablement initiatives/platforms including but not limited to Illuminate, e-catalog, SFDC integrations, email marketing, etc.
- Manage social media channel(s) including its policies, working closely with Communications Strategists to feed the channel
- Manage Digital Specialist(s) to optimize the use of website and other digital assets and platforms to support corporate digital strategies and improve user experience
- Oversee and interpret analytics to improve customer experience and understand user journey patterns
- Determine effectiveness of existing online programs and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Stay current on the latest digital trends, competitive landscape and customer insights to guide how we improve our digital channels and strategies.

- Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
- 8+ years experience
- Healthcare industry experience a plus
- Strong management experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change
- Experience as a digital product owner of systems and managing and maintaining websites
- Experience developing and integrating strategy, process, design and technology to optimize user experience
- Experience acting as a champion for digital experience best practices, guidelines and industry standards
- Ability to work cross-functionally, working closely with Marketing, IT and global teams
- Strong insights background – will need to independently synthesize digital metrics into strategy recommendations
- Experience with creative problem solving and solution development that can help drive effective updates to end-user experiences with brand and in support of the user journey
- Understanding of digital analytics platforms and content management systems
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with ongoing implementation
- Experience with SFDC as a CRM
- Experience measuring and applying accessibility-related best practices (WCAG) a plus
- Experience with an email marketing policy a plus
- Strong willingness to learn and grow independently but has an owner/builder mindset
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage as well as prioritize the diverse expectations of various stakeholders
- Ability to follow brand guidelin es
