Missions Systems is currently seeking an Integrated Program Planning & Control Analyst to join our team. This position will interact with all functions of the enterprise, including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Operations. This is an excellent position for an individual who wants to be an integral part of a team that is directly responsible for program execution. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide effective financial and administrative planning and control on a fixed price and cost redeterminable development programs.
  • Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value/project management purposes.
  • Establish a MIL-STD-881 compliant Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) and CWBS Dictionary.
  • Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to the Project Leadership Team (PLT) and corrective action implementation.
  • Prepare and submit customer cost & schedule related data items. Establish good work relationships with customers & subcontractors.
  • Review/audit subcontractor financial data and incorporate it into our EV engine.
  • Prepare and analyze contract Estimates at Complete (EACs).
  • Support Program Management in assessing program risks and opportunities.
  • Basic understanding of Earned Value Management practices and procedures, including scheduling fundamentals and system tool usage, such as Deltek Cobra, SAP/BW, and Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Accommodate unexpected events, achieve critical deadlines with quality results, and perform as a flexible team member in support of business objectives and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Program Leadership Team to analyze, prepare, and input monthly sales, profit, and milestone billing forecasts and perform the same effort for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Financial Plan (SFP).
  • Provide variance analysis of monthly sales, costs, profit, schedule, and milestone billing forecast in comparison to prior and plan. Perform the same effort for AOP/SFP.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience or, in the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline (Accounting / Finance) preferred
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience presenting to large groups and leadership
  • Understanding of Earned Value Concepts
  • Commuting distance from Cedar Rapids Iowa for in person meetings as need
