This role can either be Hybrid if you are based near St. Petersburg, FL market OR Remote if based elsewhere in the US.
We are seeking a talented Product Manager to join the growing Owned Media team within the Digital Media organization working across the Foot Locker brand portfolio.
In this role, the manager will be responsible for driving sales through A/B testing in the email & sms channels working in an Agile Pod structure. The function of the email & sms channel lead in the Agile Pod is to serve as both a channel expert and project manager to ensure tests are planned, executed, and scaled if deemed a winner. As the email and sms lead, the manager will navigate all the requirements to launch a test, including scoping the opportunity, identifying dependencies or technical requirements and working with the team to run the tests. They will also present test findings to a larger team within the organization. To drive high impact testing and plans, they will leverage customer insights, analytics and opportunity mapping.
As the channel testing lead for email & sms, they will also collaborate with colleagues outside of the Agile Pod as well as external vendors to determine feasibility and execute high-impact, data-driven tests within the 2-week sprint cycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills, analytical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done (think start-up within the organization). A passion for using data to develop insights that put the customer first is a must.
This position is an Individual Contributor role and does not manage people.
Responsibilities
- Manage all A/B testing for email and sms across the Foot Locker brand portfolio
- Fully understand the strategy and operations of email & sms and all planned activities within and outside of the Agile Pod that may impact testing
- Manage collisions within the channel and collaborate with Measurement Lead to develop testing plans and ensure adequate testing populations and treatments
- Work closely with Bluecore (ESP) and internal team members to plan and execute tests
- Leverage customer insights to inform test ideation and test design
- Own all channel testing and results for email & sms and manage plans to scale winning tests within the channels
- Work as the liaison between the Agile Pod conducting the testing and the teams managing day-to-day email & sms strategy and operations
- Facilitate multi-team test prioritization with Banner Marketing, FLX, Owned Media Operations and others, with the objective of maximizing testing value from available team capacity and engineering resources
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the digital marketing space
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Deep understanding of the email & sms channel with a strong perspective on the best ways to leverage the channels for impact
- Open to new ideas and ways of doing things
- Good understanding of Agile processes and mindsets; comfortable planning 2-week test cycles
- Excellent analytical abilities, rigorous attention to detail and bias for customer-centric planning
- Ability to use data to inform hypotheses that lead to high impact testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong collaborative spirit, and relationship-builder both internally and externally
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Experience working in a managed ESP such as Bluecore or Responsys is a plus
- Experience working in an agile testing structure is a plus

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $79000-$90000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
