Responsibilities
Enterprise Technologys (ET) Engineering area is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Public Cloud Adoption Team (PCAT)! This is an AWESOME opportunity to work on setting up and maintaining backend infrastructure in Azure and providing connectivity between Azure and on-premise AWS. This work is integral to accomplishing ET’s Cloud First Strategy and providing core Public Cloud Services as part of PCATs scope of work.
The Software Engineer chosen for this opportunity will be responsible for enabling the Microsoft Azure platform for general consumption by product teams. Responsibilities will include the deployment and management of Virtual Networks (VNETs), Subnets, Hub and Spoke model, Network Security Groups, Azure firewall, and Private endpoints.
Qualifications
Highly Desired Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure component development
- Experience of Azure Load balancers Azure Traffic Manager and Application Gateway
- Design and architecture within Azure with knowledge of connectivity patterns
- Experience in automating the deployment of infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices
- Programming experience with a common language (Python, Go)
- Agile development
- AWS development experience
