<strong>How will you make a difference in this role?</strong>
<ul>
<li>L The Person in this role reports to the Cloud Engineering team. In this Cloud Engineer position, you will be part of a talented team responsible for building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud services within our Hybrid Platform as a Service (PaaS) while gaining experience and insight into many other Open -Source products as required. Your main task will be to develop technical solutions to extend American Express' cloud platform, with a focus on building automation, to provide highly scalable cloud</li>
<li>Collaborate with the rest of the API engineering team, UI engineering team, QA team, and product management to deliver high-quality, scalable API -Create solutions and</li>
<li>Explore and leverage the latest technologies and libraries that enable the development of lightweight products</li>
<li>Implement API/middleware solutions that integrate with NSQL, platforms, and partner systems</li>
<li>Implement best practices for software, that produces maintainable code, including usability models, code style compliance, integration, unit testing, and code review</li>

<strong> Minimum Skills</strong>
<ul>
<li>Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Private Cloud)</li>
<li>Experience developing REST APIs using GoLang and/or Google</li>
<li>Experience with Cloud Engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker</li>
<li>Exceptional Good communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience with NSQL databases</li>
<li>Knowledge of agile application development General understanding of QE processes.</li>
</ul>
<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>

<li>Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree</li>
