Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to manage all revenue cycle functions at the hospital. This position is responsible for the revenue, billing processes, and systems of the hospital that drives procedures supporting insurance verification, patient account billing and collections, coding and documentation, charge entry, and patient accounts.
Other Duties Includes:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the work of subordinates involved in the areas of budget, revenue, accounting, fiscal, cost controls and financial analysis.
- Oversee the planning, selection, hiring, evaluation, coordination and training and development of staff; prepare and sign work performance evaluations which includes disciplinary action.
- Prepare department budget, including review, revision, and consolidation of division budgets; reviews requests for budget changes; prepares financial status reports.
- Prepare audit appeals and prepare responses to audit exceptions.
- Oversee multiple departments to ensure fiscal compliance with applicable rules, laws, ordinances, government codes and regulations.
- Assist the ARMC Chief Financial Officer in the development and management of fiscal systems.
- Assist the ARMC Chief Financial Officer in establishing, implementing, monitoring, and revising of fiscal policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between ARMC and State Medi-Cal Programs.

Vaccination Exemptions: Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons.
Minimum Requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public/Business Administration, Behavioral/Social Science, or other relevant field of study.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience within a hospital’s revenue cycle unit with primary responsibility for analyzing, interpreting and making recommendations to management in one or more of the following areas: patient access, utilization review, health information management; hospital revenue cycle analysis; hospital billing practices and methods; CMS, DHCS and EMTALA regulations; insurance billing and collections; budget/financial management, patient accounts/billing; clinical charge capture; operations, policies and procedures.

Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years of full-scope supervisory experience over support staff.
Substitution: Additional qualifying years of experience will substitute for the required education on a year to year basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in acute care hospital with excellent leadership skills to motivate teams and achieve performance goals and have the ability to partner with other departments within the organization as well as outside stakeholders.
