Job title: SHRM Adjunct Instructor
Company: Columbus Technical College
Job description: Columbus Technical College is seeking an individual to serve as an adjunct for Societies Human Resource Management Certification (SHRM) (non-credit). Under minimal supervision, this individual will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction; evaluate students progress in attaining goals, objectives, and student learning outcomes, and attend staff meetings. Further requirements include assisting with recruitment, and retention. This position requires day, evening, and/or on-line instruction. This position is part-time/non-exempt.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare material for SHRM class
- Coordinate SHRM curriculum or content of classes, lectures, or other educational materials
- Oversee the operations of certification
- Staying abreast of changes in the SHRM industry
- Ensures adherence to technical college and safety requirements in classrooms and labs by following established procedures
- Ensures consistency in syllabi, lesson plans, educational materials, assessments, and other appropriate course work based on the SHRM guidelines
- Monitors use of and maintains supplies, equipment and/or facilities for assigned program
- Identifies
- Assists with registration and orientation functions
- Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM Certification
- Two years in teaching or training.
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
