SNC is a dynamic, state-of-the-art company with a very dynamic ServiceNow platform environment.
The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for the health and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This includes platform maintenance/upgrades, and overseeing the design and implementation of all small enhancements and project-related transformational changes to the platform. This includes overseeing the work performed by internal ServiceNow CSAs, citizen developers, and 3rd-party System Integrators.
Sierra Nevada Corporations ServiceNow Platform team designs, implements, and supports services and offerings in the IT Service Management, ITOM, and Human Resources Management spaces as well as supports shared development spaces in the GRC and Security Operations spaces.
The ServiceNow Architect is a technical subject management expert responsible for the architecture, design, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
The ServiceNow Architect will work with internal customers, Scrum Masters, Technical Product Managers, ServiceNow developers, and 3rd parties to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, integrations, and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise.
As SNC’s corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
This role is open to a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states
Must-haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering and 14+ years working with the ServiceNow platform
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator
- Wide and deep understanding of the entire ServiceNow platform
- Experience implementing multiple ITSM services including Service Catalog efforts including approval and workflows
- Good understanding of CSDM good practices and a history of implementing ServiceNow solutions aligned with CSDM
- Excellent written & verbal communication and documentation skills
- Subject matter expertise and the ability to lead, guide and mentor other with regard to Windows and Microsoft Office lifecycle management and managing 3rd party licenses software
Preferred:
- Certified ServiceNow Developer or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification(s)
- Experience implementing multiple ServiceNow modules including:
- ITAM/SAM PRO, etc.
- ITOM/CMDB/Discover/Service Mapping
- HR
- GRC / IRM
- Vulnerability Management
- Experience implementation GenerativeAI and AIOps service offerings
- Relevant software development certifications.
- Micro Certs or certifications in other platform functionalities

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $159,430.15 – $219,216.46. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
