Job Description
What you will do
This role is responsible for finished goods supply and demand planning for the Automotive Service Solutions. This includes:
- Responsible for managing finished good master data , MRP settings and exceptions
- Determine appropriate supply strategy for each part within portfolio and apply Automotive Aftermarkets Stocking Policy as necessary
- Define and execute measures to ensure healthy finished good inventory levels
- Use Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles to comprehend all factors that can influence and affect the forecast, and communicate these factors to Sales, Marketing and Operations
- Create and perform trend analysis reports
- Establish and facilitate Sales and Operations Planning process for the Automotive Service Solutions business unit in North America
- Collaboration of all demand planning activities in order to ensure high customer service levels with optimal inventory levels
- Communicate and cooperate within a cross-functional environment; being proactive in establishing relationships with Key Customers and counterparts in Supply Planning (Owatonna, MN plant), Marketing, Sales, IT, Physical Logistics, Accounting, and other Departments.
- Actively participate in process improvement and creation/adherence to standard work
Qualifications
Experience & Background
- Bachelors Degree (Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred)
- 2+ years of supply chain work experience required
- SAP experience a strong asset or other ERP system experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) including macros
- Highly analytical, detail oriented
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Continuous improvement and change management mindset
