Summary of Job Duties: The Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Innovation (SEVI) Department in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas seeks applications from interested candidates to fill a Non-Tenure Track Teaching Assistant Professor position effective Spring 2024. Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.

This position is expected to teach eight courses per year with a mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed. No more than two course preparations per semester.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or expect to complete their terminal degree prior to the position start date

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Ph.D. in the area of entrepreneurship, strategic management, or a related field

Further, preference will be given to candidates with strong teaching records, who have demonstrated the ability to provide an excellent learning environment in the classroom, and value collegiality
