JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The School of Public Policy at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a full-time Teaching Faculty position, to start in August 2023.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in the undergraduate program and the Master of Public Policy program, advising students, and assisting with assessment for accreditation. The School has needs in statistics, public finance, and economics policy at the MPP level, and the successful candidate could also teach substantive policy courses in the MPP and at the undergraduate level. This position will include resident and online instruction and normal university service. The teaching load during the academic year is typically six courses.
The position will be appointed at the Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor rank, depending on the candidates education and experience. A Masters degree or higher in public policy, public management, economics, or related field is required by the appointment date. This is a non-tenure-track, term position for one year with an excellent possibility of renewal.
